I just read in the news (yes the actual news and not perez hilton) that President Obama as well as former President Clinton have both "personally reached out to Tiger Woods." Apparently they both made phone calls of encouragement to Tiger while he was in rehab. It is just interesting to me how far this has gone. The man cheats on his wife and literally the whole world gets involved. I guess Clinton has dealt with this sort of thing before, but I still find it completely ridiculous that the leaders of our country find it necessary to comfort a golf star who lost endorsements. What's next, an intervention for Lindsey Lohan hosted by the White House?
I agree. Unless they happened to be close friends of Tiger, there isn't really a need for them to give him condolenses unless they think it will gain them public support (sympathy card). They don't have a real reason to. Celebrities have issues all the time. Why aren't they calling to check on them?
ReplyDeleteI think this is somewhat amusing. I can understand Bill Clinton reaching out to him however I cant make sense of why Obama did. Clinton has some experience in this field of engaging in sexual relations with other and then being publicly criticized.
